Margaret draws attention to two talks in particular:

  • the Salter Lecture, 16.00 – 18.00 on Friday, by Danny Dorling, Professor of Human Geography, who will be looking at social inequality in the UK and its causes; and
  • the Swarthmore Lecture, ‘Snakes and Ladders’, 19.00–20.30 on Saturday, which will be given by Rachel Brett, who will consider what it is that drives Quakers to work on issues to do with human rights and refugees. Official listing (pdf).
